Dimensions & care

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.

Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

Outdoor & Garden

A planter with enough mass to hold a top-heavy tree

Fibre-reinforced concrete, 14 inches across and 24 high, 22 pounds before you put a scoop of soil in it. That weight is the reason a fiddle leaf in a hallway stays upright when someone squeezes past with a bag.

WEIGHT AS A FEATURE

Twenty-two pounds is the whole point

Lightweight resin planters look identical on a shelf, right up until a tall plant leans and takes the pot down with it. Cast concrete puts the mass at the base and keeps it there. The trade is honest: at 22 lb empty, decide where it lives before you fill it.

INSIDE OR OUT

One plug decides which

The base is drilled and ships with a removable plug. Leave the plug seated and it holds water safely on a wood floor; pull it and the same pot drains on a terrace. No drilling, no second purchase, no saucer hunt.

THE FINISH

Raw grey, with the pour left visible

Sealed against staining but not polished, so slight shifts in tone and the faint seam of the mould stay where they are. Two of these will not be identical. Fibre reinforcement is what keeps an edge from crumbling if it meets a doorframe.

My fiddle leaf finally stopped tipping

It was in a resin pot that went over twice in a month. Twenty-two pounds of concrete before any soil goes in and it has not shifted since. Plug still seated because it lives on hardwood.

Heavy in the right way

Decide where it goes before you fill it, they are not exaggerating. You can see the faint seam from the mould down one side and I like that; it does not look like injection-moulded plastic pretending to be stone.

Questions we get about this kind of piece

All FAQs
Can it stay outside all year?

Powder-coated metal and teak handle a full season outdoors without complaint. Through winter, cover the piece or bring the lighter items and cushions inside. What each piece is rated for is on its page.

Will teak go grey?

Yes, and that is normal. Untreated teak weathers to a silver-grey within a season without losing any strength — the colour change is on the surface. Oil it once or twice a season if you would rather keep the honey tone.

Are the outdoor lights safe in rain?

Anything listed for outdoor use is rated for it and the rating is on the page. Solar and battery pieces need no wiring at all; anything that plugs in needs an outdoor-rated socket, not an extension run out through a window.

What happens to cushions if they get wet?

The fabric is water-resistant, not waterproof. A shower runs off and they dry quickly, but a cushion put away damp will mildew from the inside out. Stand them on edge to dry before storing.
