Warm light, not the blue solar look
This is the thing that gives away cheap solar and these got it right. Charge in the day, on at dusk, no wiring. Ran through two weeks of rain without a problem.

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.
Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.
Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.
Outdoor & Garden
Forty-eight feet of black cord with a bulb every 18 inches, run off a solar panel you push into a bed. The light is 2700K — the warm end, not the blue-white that gives cheap solar away from three gardens over.

THE COLOUR
Most inexpensive solar strings run 5000K and up, because cool LEDs cost less and look brighter in a shop aisle. Strung over a table at night they make everything faintly clinical. 2700K is roughly the temperature of a lit candle, and it is what makes a run of bulbs read as evening rather than as equipment.
INSTALLATION
The panel sits on a ground stake, so it goes wherever the sun actually lands — which is very often not where you want the lights. A lead between panel and first bulb buys you that separation. No transformer, no outdoor socket, no timer to reset when the clocks change.
DURABILITY
The bulbs are moulded plastic rather than glass, so a branch coming down on the run does not put shards across a terrace where people go barefoot. Rated IP44 for rain and splash. In a hard freeze, bring the panel in and leave the string up.

Third solar set I have bought and the first that is not ice white. The 2700K makes the courtyard read like candlelight instead of a car park. I put the panel spike in a bed about twelve feet from the first bulb.
The dusk sensor is accurate and there is no app or timer to fight with. I ran the full 48 feet along a fence and the 18 inch spacing worked out evenly. A branch came down on one bulb and it just bounced.
Powder-coated metal and teak handle a full season outdoors without complaint. Through winter, cover the piece or bring the lighter items and cushions inside. What each piece is rated for is on its page.
Yes, and that is normal. Untreated teak weathers to a silver-grey within a season without losing any strength — the colour change is on the surface. Oil it once or twice a season if you would rather keep the honey tone.
Anything listed for outdoor use is rated for it and the rating is on the page. Solar and battery pieces need no wiring at all; anything that plugs in needs an outdoor-rated socket, not an extension run out through a window.
The fabric is water-resistant, not waterproof. A shower runs off and they dry quickly, but a cushion put away damp will mildew from the inside out. Stand them on edge to dry before storing.
