Dimensions & care

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.

Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

Bath

Linen hangs. Plastic clings.

Washed linen with twelve rustproof grommets, hung in front of a liner — the part you look at, and the part that stops a bathroom reading as a rental.

Linen Shower Curtain

72 x 72 in

Standard rod, standard tub

Twelve grommets

Rustproof metal, not punched holes

Washed linen

Falls straight, does not stick

Wash cold, hang dry

Softens every time

Material

Weight is what makes it hang

Linen has enough mass to fall in a straight line from the rod and enough texture that it does not wrap itself around your arm when the shower is running.

Liner

Use one behind it

This is the outer curtain. Hang a liner on the same rod behind it — the linen stays dry, keeps its drape and goes years between washes. Liner sold separately.

Hardware

Twelve rustproof grommets

Proper metal grommets rather than reinforced holes, spaced evenly across the full 72 inches so the folds sit at regular intervals instead of bunching at one end.

It hangs, and it does not stick to you

The linen has enough weight to fall straight from the rod instead of billowing in and wrapping round my arm. I put a liner behind it as recommended and the linen itself still looks new.

Twelve proper grommets

These are real metal grommets rather than reinforced holes, and across the full 72 inches the folds hang evenly all the way along. My bathroom stopped looking like a rental the day it went up.

Questions we get about this kind of piece

All FAQs
What is it made of, and will it survive a damp bathroom?

Every page names the material — stoneware, glass, teak, marble or cotton — rather than leaving it at "ceramic". All of it lives happily in a humid room with a little care: let wood dry between uses and re-oil it a couple of times a year, and re-seal stone once a year. What none of it likes is standing water, so nothing should sit in a permanent puddle.

Can towels and mats go in the machine?

Yes — warm wash, tumble on low. Wash new towels once before using them: the finish that makes towels look crisp on a shelf is also what stops them absorbing, and it rinses out on the first cycle.

Do the pieces match across the range?

Pieces in the same material and finish are made to sit together. Stone and wood vary from piece to piece by nature, so expect a close family rather than an exact match — that is the material, not a defect.

Can I return something I have used?

Thirty days, unused and in the original packaging. Once a towel or a mat has been washed or used we cannot take it back for hygiene reasons, so check the size on the page before ordering.
