Great pot, one note on the lid
The linen shade is lovely and the light comes through warm rather than white. Only thing is the cord came longer than I needed and shortening it took a minute of reading the instructions.

Dimensions & care
Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.
Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.
Shipping & returns
Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

Oatmeal linen with a visible slub, wrapped by hand over a welded steel ring. Light passes through the fabric rather than bouncing off a plastic diffuser, which is the whole difference between a warm room and a lit one.
Where it goes
Over a table, or in the middle of a room
At 20 inches across it reads as a deliberate fixture rather than a builder's light. Hung over a dining table it wants to sit about 30 to 34 inches above the surface; in the middle of a room, at least 7 ft off the floor.
Installing it
One screwdriver, ten minutes
Ships with the ceiling plate, mounting hardware and the cord already fitted. Shorten the cord at the plate to set your drop — the instructions show the two knots. Bulb is not included.

The dining room finally has a ceiling
We had a bare bulb over the table for two years. Hung this about 32 inches above the surface and the whole room dropped a level in the best way. The cord shortening took one read of the instructions.
Bigger than I pictured
Twenty inches is genuinely wide, which is on me for not measuring. It works over the table but would have swallowed a hallway. The linen is the real thing and the light through it is lovely.
Does it come with a bulb?
Most of our lamps take a standard E26 bulb and ship without one, so you choose the colour temperature rather than living with ours. The socket and the maximum wattage are listed under The details on every page. Anything with integrated LEDs says so and needs no bulb at all.
Can I put it on a dimmer?
Yes, on anything with a standard socket, as long as the bulb you fit is a dimmable one. Pieces with integrated LEDs have their own dimming built in and should not be wired to a wall dimmer.
Is there much assembly?
Very little. Floor and table lamps arrive in two or three parts that thread together by hand, no tools. Anything that wires into a ceiling box is marked on the page and should be fitted by an electrician.
What happens if the glass arrives broken?
Glass and ceramic ship double-boxed. If a piece still arrives broken, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement. You do not have to send the broken one back.
