Dimensions & care

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.

Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

Kitchen & Dining

Fridge to oven in the same container

Eight pieces of borosilicate glass with lids that clamp on all four sides. Borosilicate is the glass that takes a temperature jump, so last night's leftovers go from a cold shelf into a hot oven without a transfer dish.

Borosilicate Storage Set - 8

Borosilicate

Takes the temperature jump

Four-side lids

Clips onto a silicone seal

Oven safe

Lid off, dish straight in

Eight pieces

Bases nest, lids stack

WHY BOROSILICATE

It is about thermal shock, not toughness

Ordinary soda-lime glass expands unevenly when one face heats faster than the other, which is exactly how a dish cracks on its way from fridge to oven. Borosilicate expands far less, so it survives the jump. That one property is what lets a single container do the whole job.

THE LIDS

Four clips, not two

Latches on all four sides pull the lid down evenly onto a silicone gasket, so a soup can travel in a bag without redecorating it. Two-clip lids always leave a corner free to lift. The lids come off before anything goes in the oven — they are the one part that is not oven safe.

THE SET

Eight pieces that actually nest

The bases stack inside one another and the lids stack separately, which is the only way a glass set does not swallow an entire cupboard. Glass also does not stain from tomato or hold on to last week's curry, which is usually why the plastic tubs got replaced in the first place.

Cold shelf straight into a hot oven

Lid off, dish in, and there is no transfer bowl to wash afterwards. The glass took the temperature jump without a sound. Four clips also means soup travels in my work bag without redecorating it.

Great set, the lids need hand washing

The glass does not stain from tomato sauce, which was my whole complaint about the plastic tubs these replaced, and the bases nest properly in the cupboard. The gasket lids do have to be washed by hand or they stop sealing as tightly.

Questions we get about this kind of piece

All FAQs
Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?

Stoneware and glass are safe in both. Cast iron, wood and anything with a wooden handle should be washed by hand and dried straight away. Every product page states which applies to that piece.

What is it actually made of?

We name it on every page — stoneware, borosilicate glass, cast iron, acacia or olive wood — instead of writing "ceramic" and leaving it there. Glazes are food-safe and lead-free, and the non-stick coatings are PFOA-free.

Do the pans work on induction?

Cast iron and anything with a magnetic base does. If a page does not mention induction, treat it as gas and electric only, or ask us and we will check the actual base. A non-stick surface lasts for years if you keep it off high heat, out of the dishwasher and away from metal utensils.

Why is it so much cheaper than retail?

This is finished stock from the same production runs that supply larger homeware retailers, bought as a lot and priced without the showroom margin. Same piece, same materials, same factory. When a lot is gone we cannot always reorder it.
