Dimensions & care

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.

Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

Kitchen & Dining

Ninety seconds to foam, hot or cold

One jug that heats and whisks, or whisks cold for an iced drink, and is done in about a minute and a half. The jug goes in the dishwasher — which is the detail that decides whether you are still using it in March.

Electric Milk Frother

90 seconds

Start to finished foam

Hot or cold

Cold foam for iced drinks

Dishwasher-safe jug

Why it stays in use

Heats and whisks

One jug does both

COLD FOAM

The setting that earns it a place all summer

Most frothers only heat. Cold foam sits on top of an iced coffee instead of dissolving straight into it, and it is the one thing a home setup usually cannot do at all. Same jug, same ninety seconds, no heat applied.

SPEED

Fast enough to happen on a Tuesday

A frother that takes four minutes gets used at the weekend and then lives at the back of a cupboard. At about a minute and a half you can start it, grind, pull a shot and pour. That timing is the entire difference between a gadget and a habit.

THE JUG

Dishwasher-safe, which decides everything

Milk protein bakes onto a warm surface, and hand-scrubbing a whisk jug every single morning is exactly how these end up abandoned. This one goes in the machine. Rinse it straight after pouring anyway and the dishwasher has almost nothing left to do.

Cold foam is why I bought it

Iced coffee every day this summer and the cold foam actually sits on top rather than dissolving straight in. Ninety seconds is accurate. I start it, pull a shot, and pour.

Quick, and the jug goes in the machine

Milk skin bakes on if you leave the jug sitting, so I rinse it the moment I pour and then it goes in the dishwasher. That is genuinely the only reason I am still using it daily rather than giving up on it.

Questions we get about this kind of piece

All FAQs
Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?

Stoneware and glass are safe in both. Cast iron, wood and anything with a wooden handle should be washed by hand and dried straight away. Every product page states which applies to that piece.

What is it actually made of?

We name it on every page — stoneware, borosilicate glass, cast iron, acacia or olive wood — instead of writing "ceramic" and leaving it there. Glazes are food-safe and lead-free, and the non-stick coatings are PFOA-free.

Do the pans work on induction?

Cast iron and anything with a magnetic base does. If a page does not mention induction, treat it as gas and electric only, or ask us and we will check the actual base. A non-stick surface lasts for years if you keep it off high heat, out of the dishwasher and away from metal utensils.

Why is it so much cheaper than retail?

This is finished stock from the same production runs that supply larger homeware retailers, bought as a lot and priced without the showroom margin. Same piece, same materials, same factory. When a lot is gone we cannot always reorder it.
