Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.
Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.
Shipping & returns
Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

A strip full of adapters generates real heat. Vents through the body let it escape, which is the difference between hiding your cables and creating a new problem behind the sofa.

The lid lifts straight off
No hinge, no catch, no clips to snap. Lift it, plug something in, put it back — and the slots at both ends mean cables enter and leave without being pinched shut.

Sixteen inches long inside a 6 by 5 section: a standard 12-inch power strip goes in with room to coil the excess cable beside it rather than out the back.

Lid lifts off, no fiddly catch
There is no hinge to snap and no clips to line up, you just lift it. My 12 inch strip fits with room to coil the slack, and the slots at both ends stop the cables being pinched.
How much weight will a shelf hold?
The load rating is printed on each product page. It assumes the fixings have gone into studs, or into the correct anchor for your wall — in practice it is almost always the wall that gives way rather than the shelf, so find the studs before you drill.
Are the wall fixings included?
Yes, with standard drywall anchors. Plaster, brick and tile each need a different fixing and we do not supply those, because the wrong anchor in masonry is worse than none.
Are the dimensions internal or external?
External, unless the page says otherwise. Where a piece is built to hold something specific — files, records, shoes — we list the internal measurement as well so you can check before ordering.
How do I clean a woven basket?
A damp cloth and then air drying. Do not soak or submerge a woven piece: the fibres swell, and as they dry the weave loosens and never fully tightens back.
