Dimensions & care

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.

Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

Bath

Soft underfoot, for people who do not want stone

Densely tufted cotton on a latex backing that grips tile — and it comes out of the wash still plush rather than flat.

Tufted Bath Rug

Dense cotton pile

Warm ivory, soft underfoot

Latex backing

Grips tile, does not slide

Machine washable

Warm wash, tumble low

34 x 21 in

Standard vanity width

Pile

Tufted densely, so it stays up

Cheap bath rugs go flat after three washes because the pile is sparse and the tufts have nothing to lean on. This one is packed tightly enough that the fibres hold each other upright.

Backing

Latex, bonded to the base

The non-slip layer is bonded rather than sprayed on, so it grips tile properly when you step off the bath and does not peel away in the machine.

Colour

Warm ivory, not cold white

A warm ivory sits more easily next to most tile and grout than a bright white, and it hides the ordinary marks of a bathroom floor between washes.

Still plush after six washes

I wanted something soft underfoot rather than the stone mats everyone has now. Six warm washes later the cotton pile is still standing up instead of matting flat, and the latex backing has not peeled.

Warm ivory was the right call

The ivory sits much better against my grey tile than a bright white would have. At 34 by 21 inches it is a touch short for a double vanity, so measure the run before you order.

Questions we get about this kind of piece

All FAQs
What is it made of, and will it survive a damp bathroom?

Every page names the material — stoneware, glass, teak, marble or cotton — rather than leaving it at "ceramic". All of it lives happily in a humid room with a little care: let wood dry between uses and re-oil it a couple of times a year, and re-seal stone once a year. What none of it likes is standing water, so nothing should sit in a permanent puddle.

Can towels and mats go in the machine?

Yes — warm wash, tumble on low. Wash new towels once before using them: the finish that makes towels look crisp on a shelf is also what stops them absorbing, and it rinses out on the first cycle.

Do the pieces match across the range?

Pieces in the same material and finish are made to sit together. Stone and wood vary from piece to piece by nature, so expect a close family rather than an exact match — that is the material, not a defect.

Can I return something I have used?

Thirty days, unused and in the original packaging. Once a towel or a mat has been washed or used we cannot take it back for hygiene reasons, so check the size on the page before ordering.
