Dimensions & care
Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.
Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.
Shipping & returns
Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

It arrives as raw white plaster with a chalk surface. Roll your wall colour straight over it and the fixture disappears into the plane — that is the entire idea, and it is why there is no lacquer to sand off first.
The light
Two arcs, up and down
Light washes the wall above and below rather than pointing out into the room, so you get shape and shadow instead of a bright spot in your eyeline. Along a hallway, a run of them does what a ceiling fixture cannot.

Plaster chips if you knock it
It is a soft material by design. A knock takes a chip out of the edge — fill it with a dab of spackle and touch it up with your wall paint, and it is invisible again. That is the trade for a light that vanishes into the wall.

Plaster chips if you knock it
Took a small nick on the corner while I was fitting it and touched it up with wall paint in ten seconds. Worth knowing before you handle it. Light itself is lovely and soft.
Does it come with a bulb?
Most of our lamps take a standard E26 bulb and ship without one, so you choose the colour temperature rather than living with ours. The socket and the maximum wattage are listed under The details on every page. Anything with integrated LEDs says so and needs no bulb at all.
Can I put it on a dimmer?
Yes, on anything with a standard socket, as long as the bulb you fit is a dimmable one. Pieces with integrated LEDs have their own dimming built in and should not be wired to a wall dimmer.
Is there much assembly?
Very little. Floor and table lamps arrive in two or three parts that thread together by hand, no tools. Anything that wires into a ceiling box is marked on the page and should be fitted by an electrician.
What happens if the glass arrives broken?
Glass and ceramic ship double-boxed. If a piece still arrives broken, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement. You do not have to send the broken one back.
