Hosed it down, dry in an hour
The kids track sand onto the patio constantly. I rinse the whole 5 by 8 off and it is genuinely dry before we eat. I flipped it in July and the flattened patches under the chair legs came straight back out.

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.
Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.
Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.
Outdoor & Garden
Recycled polypropylene woven flat in natural and charcoal stripes, 5 by 8 feet, reversible, and dry again about an hour after you have rinsed it down.

WHY IT DRIES
The fibre is hydrophobic, so rain sits on the surface and runs off instead of soaking into a backing and staying there for days. That is what prevents the mildew smell you get from a natural-fibre rug left out through a wet week.
FLATWEAVE
Woven flat rather than tufted, so sand, pollen and pine needles sit on top and shake straight out. There is also no glued-on backing, which is the usual first failure on an outdoor rug — the layer that separates and makes a corner curl.
BOTH SIDES
The natural and charcoal stripe reads the same either way up. Turn it over halfway through the season and the flattened patches under the chair legs get a chance to recover.

The flatweave shakes clean in about ten seconds, which a tufted outdoor rug never did for me. It has been in open sun since June and the charcoal stripe has not gone chalky.
Powder-coated metal and teak handle a full season outdoors without complaint. Through winter, cover the piece or bring the lighter items and cushions inside. What each piece is rated for is on its page.
Yes, and that is normal. Untreated teak weathers to a silver-grey within a season without losing any strength — the colour change is on the surface. Oil it once or twice a season if you would rather keep the honey tone.
Anything listed for outdoor use is rated for it and the rating is on the page. Solar and battery pieces need no wiring at all; anything that plugs in needs an outdoor-rated socket, not an extension run out through a window.
The fabric is water-resistant, not waterproof. A shower runs off and they dry quickly, but a cushion put away damp will mildew from the inside out. Stand them on edge to dry before storing.
