Dimensions & care

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.

Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.

Shipping & returns

Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.

Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.

Bath

Eight hours of mist, and no plastic tank on display

A ceramic body sitting over the reservoir, so the working part stays out of sight and what is on the shelf reads as an object rather than an appliance. One fill runs about eight hours, quietly enough to leave on overnight.

Ceramic Oil Diffuser

Eight hours

One fill lasts the night

Ceramic shell

No visible plastic tank

Cool mist

Ultrasonic, never heated

Quiet

Will not wake you at 3am

WHY IT IS HIDDEN

The tank is the ugly part of every diffuser

Nearly all of them are a translucent plastic reservoir with a lid, glowing away on a bathroom shelf. Here the tank sits inside a ceramic body, so what you actually see is a matte ceramic form. Nothing about it announces that it is plugged into a socket.

EIGHT HOURS

Long enough to be an overnight thing

A two-hour run means filling it before bed and filling it again in the morning, and that is how a diffuser ends up in a drawer. Eight hours covers a whole night from a single fill, or a full working day in a room you are actually sitting in.

COOL MIST

No heat, so the oil is never cooked

Ultrasonic diffusion vibrates water into a cool mist and carries the oil out in it. Heat-based burners alter an oil as they warm it. Cool mist also means no part of the unit gets hot, which is worth something on a bathroom shelf that is within reach of everyone.

Runs all evening on one fill

I switch it on around seven and it is still misting when I go up to bed, so the eight hours is not marketing. Because the reservoir sits inside the ceramic there is no cloudy plastic tank on my shelf either.

Reads as an object, not a gadget

The glazed ceramic body has real weight to it and the glow coming through is soft rather than clinical. My only note is that emptying it when I switch oils is a small chore, though it is only a wipe.

Finally not a glowing plastic tub

The ceramic body hides the reservoir completely, so on the bathroom shelf it just reads as an object rather than an appliance. One fill runs right through the night.

Eight hours and I never hear it

Fill it before bed and it is still misting when I get up. Cool mist means nothing on it gets warm, which matters with kids reaching up to that shelf. I rinse the reservoir out once a week.

Questions we get about this kind of piece

All FAQs
What is it made of, and will it survive a damp bathroom?

Every page names the material — stoneware, glass, teak, marble or cotton — rather than leaving it at "ceramic". All of it lives happily in a humid room with a little care: let wood dry between uses and re-oil it a couple of times a year, and re-seal stone once a year. What none of it likes is standing water, so nothing should sit in a permanent puddle.

Can towels and mats go in the machine?

Yes — warm wash, tumble on low. Wash new towels once before using them: the finish that makes towels look crisp on a shelf is also what stops them absorbing, and it rinses out on the first cycle.

Do the pieces match across the range?

Pieces in the same material and finish are made to sit together. Stone and wood vary from piece to piece by nature, so expect a close family rather than an exact match — that is the material, not a defect.

Can I return something I have used?

Thirty days, unused and in the original packaging. Once a towel or a mat has been washed or used we cannot take it back for hygiene reasons, so check the size on the page before ordering.
