Deeper than it photographs
I can actually sit back in it, which is where every other small accent chair I tried failed. The boucle is a tight loop so my cat has not managed to pull it. Legs screwed on in two minutes.

Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.
Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.
Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.
Furniture
Cream boucle in a tight loop over a kiln-dried hardwood frame, thirty inches deep.

DEPTH
Most are shallow enough that you end up perched on the front edge. At 30 inches deep with a 17 inch seat height, this one lets you sit back and stay there for an hour.
WEAVE
Loose boucle loops are what pets and zips pull out. The loop here is wound close to the base cloth, which is the difference between a chair that stays smooth and one that goes fluffy by month six.
CREAM
Cream is cream, and in a busy house it will need attention. The seat cushion cover is removable for exactly that reason, so the part that takes the most wear is the part you can take off and clean.
| Upholstery | Cream boucle, tight loop weave |
| Frame | Kiln-dried hardwood |
| Dimensions | 29 in wide, 30 in deep, 30 in high |
| Seat height | 17 in |
| Cover | Removable seat cushion cover |
| Assembly | Legs screw on, nothing else |
| Care | Vacuum with an upholstery head, spot clean |
This is finished stock from the same production runs that supply larger homeware retailers — bought as a lot, priced without the showroom margin. Same piece, same materials. When the lot is gone we cannot always reorder.

Most accent chairs this size make you perch on the front edge. Thirty inches of depth means I can put my feet up and read for an hour. The boucle loop is tight enough that my cat has not managed to pull a thread out of it.
It is a beautiful chair and the hardwood frame does not creak the way my last one did. Realistically cream boucle in a house with a toddler needs attention, and I have already taken the seat cushion cover off and washed it once. It went back on fine and I would buy it again.
Part-assembled. The hardware and an Allen key are in the box and most pieces are four to eight bolts. The number of steps and the rough assembly time are on each product page.
Check the boxed dimensions in The details before you order, not just the assembled ones — a doorway or a stair turn is what usually catches people out, and larger tops ship as a single slab. If a measurement is borderline, write to us and we will measure the actual item before it leaves.
Larger pieces are delivered to your door. Carriers do not carry items upstairs, into a particular room, unpack them or take the packaging away, so line up a second pair of hands for anything heavy.
Where a page says solid oak or solid acacia, it is solid through the whole thickness, not veneer over board. Grain and tone vary from piece to piece because the wood does; we do not photograph a stained sample and ship something else.
