Blackout Curtain Pair
Full dimensions are listed at the end of the Overview on every product page, taken from the finished piece rather than from a drawing. If a measurement matters for your space, write to us and we will check the actual item before it ships.
Care instructions ship with the product and are printed on the care label where there is one. Solid wood wants a damp cloth and an occasional oil; stone should be sealed once a year; wool and linen prefer a cold wash and drying flat.
Shipping is free on every order, with tracking, anywhere in the United States. We do not ship outside the US, so there are no customs charges or import duties on anything you order.
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and most orders placed before 2pm ET leave the same day. Typical delivery is 7 to 15 days from dispatch. Tracking arrives by email as soon as the carrier scans the parcel.
Thirty days to return anything unused and in its original packaging, with all fixings included. We cover the return shipping when an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. If a piece arrives damaged, send a photo of the item and the outer box within 7 days and we ship a replacement without asking for the broken one back.
Textiles & Rugs
A stone linen weave with a woven blackout liner, blocking roughly 95 percent of light. Sold as a pair, each 50 by 96 inches.
LINER
A coated blackout backing is stiff, catches the light with a plastic sheen and eventually flakes off the fabric. A woven liner keeps the curtain flexible, so the linen face still falls in proper folds.
PERFORMANCE
A hanging panel is not a fitted blind and there will be a faint halo at the rod. Inside the drop it is dark enough to sleep through a summer sunrise or a lamp directly outside the window.
HEADER
Back tabs give a soft even pleat on a modern rod. The rod pocket gathers tighter if that suits the room better. Both are sewn in, so use whichever you prefer without altering anything.

This is finished stock from the same production runs that supply larger homeware retailers — bought as a lot, priced without the showroom margin. Same piece, same materials. When the lot is gone we cannot always reorder.

There is a lamp directly outside our bedroom window and the room is now dark enough to sleep past sunrise. What sold me is the woven liner rather than a rubbery coated backing, so the stone linen face still falls in proper folds. They hang like curtains, not like blackout blinds.
You still get a faint halo at the very edges of the rod, which is what happens with any panel that is not fixed to the frame. Inside that, the drop is dark and the 96 inch length reaches our floor with a slight break. I used the back tabs rather than the rod pocket for a cleaner pleat.
A wool rug sheds for the first two to four weeks — that is loose fibre working out of the weave, not the rug coming apart. Vacuum with the beater bar off and it settles down on its own.
Linen and cotton take a cold machine wash and dry flat or on low heat. Wool prefers spot cleaning and one professional clean a year. The care label is sewn into the item and the full instructions sit under Dimensions & care.
On a hard floor, yes. It stops the rug creeping underfoot, adds a lot of comfort and keeps the backing from grinding against the boards. On carpet it is optional.
We photograph on neutral backgrounds without boosting saturation, but screens differ and natural fibres take dye unevenly by nature — that variation is part of the material, not a fault. If the shade is wrong for your room you have 30 days.
